Artist Tia Corine partnered with Trap Sushi to bring The Corinian Experience during Dream Con weekend.
What is Trap Sushi?
Trap Sushi is an event organization that hosts anime-inspired nightlife events throughout the year. They combine elements of Atlanta and Japanese pop-culture, anime, music, and entertainment to create unique and memorable experiences for our attendees. They are known for their lively after-con parties arounf the country.
The Corinian Experience
Corinian is Tia Corine’s much anticipated 22 track album released toward the end of last year. The album gave fans hits such as Backyard, Was Hannin, Pretty, and Cutting Ties. All of which Trap Sushi’s DJ mixed through the night along with a few hiphop and r&b classics as Tia worked through the seemingly never ending line. I think we can all agree that genuine interactions between artists and fans are rare these days. Whether its parasocial fans trying to grab the artist’s attention or artist who make it obvious that they don’t care to be there, a genuine connection is obviously missing. That wasn’t the case on Saturday.
Even with the line of fans eager to meet Tia extending the length of the club, she still met each one with the same enthusiasm!
