On an overcast, drizzly Sunday, the mood was already set for an electric night of metal in the House of Blues in Orlando. Bringing The North American Duel Tour to Orlando along for the ride were supporting acts Crystal Lake and Entheos.

Kicking off the night from Japan were Crystal Lake, who brought unmistakable energy with insane light utilization to match the rowdy vocals and electricity that you’d expect to come from an overseas metal band. Really a great way to get the crowd hyped and ready for the night to come!

Following them, were California formed Entheos with leading lady on vocals, Chaney Crabb, whose voice is essentially a haunting siren amped to 12. This band brought death metal and headbanging to levels that kept the energy high following what Crystal lake started. The energy and visuals on display, coupled by the mesmerizing vocals, were an incredible experience live.

Closing out the night were Headlining act Jinjer, hailing from Ukraine, bringing to light with their latest album “Duel” which is inspired by the ongoing issues in their home country. You could feel the emotions pouring from the band as Tatiana brought the vocals we all have come to love with such invigorating energy that brought the capacity house to its feet and the pit to a full rage. HOB got an incredible experience from beginning to end. I’m sure plenty left with the headbanging headaches we’ve come to love as metal heads.
