Rising artist Alemeda revealed in a recent TikTok live the reason behind the opening meows on her song Broken Record.
A fun, interesting warm up provided to the singer, Alemeda, turned into a hot topic when her producer caught the meows on tape during a session for Broken Record. After playing it back, he insisted that she keep them in the song and she agreed. While many complain it ruins the song, I think it was a brilliant move. Not only is it catchy, listeners’ attention is grabbed in an instant.
