The Opener

The opener, SadBoi, And her dj played some (fire) mixes, but the set left something to be desired. A slight wave of head bobs was achieved at multiple points. At others, most of the crowd was observed looking around at each other.

What We Loved About Ricoโ€™s Set

So much! Itโ€™s been a while since Iโ€™ve been to a show, but Iโ€™m certain that I can say that this show was nearly perfect! The venue,The Bomb Factory, was an excellent choice. Staff was very respectful and ensured doors opened on time. The venue had various food and drink options (although a little pricey) with a few hidden seats scattered around if you needed a break. Iโ€™m not sure if it was a choice of the venue or team decision, but many attendants received physical tickets, a concert staple that had been more than missed!

The performance was a fever dream! Most artists these days tour and only perform songs off of the album they are promoting with maybe one or two nods towards their hits. Rico however, performed songs from every era of hers. There was something that night for you no matter what your favorite album was, which reflected the Lethal album very well in my opinion. As someone who rarely listens to albums in full regularly, i appreciated it so much!

What Was Missed

A break lol!Rico didnโ€™t break the set up with monologues. While I appreciated the nonstop energy Rico put out, not having a break in between songs ended up tiring me out very quickly. I barely had time to collect myself before transitioning to another track. No time was wasted, but a price was paid.

Overall

I think that even as new fan, you wouldโ€™ve enjoyed this tour and I hope Ricoโ€™s team is listening and highly considering a Lethal:Reloaded tour since it is in such high demand. I know itโ€™s pricey, but the people want it! This event left me with high hopes for Ricoโ€™s future tours and growth as an artist. I can wait to see her again!
